run with your heart

Participated in the MTN Kampala Marathon on the weekend. Around 18000 people packed Kololo Airstrip. Funny how in East Africa, the shortest race option is 10km, with the other lengths being half marathon (21km) and full marathon (42km). Than again, it's not uncommon for people to walk 10km each day just to get to and from work/school.

anticipating the start --- could barely jog the first 1km because
we were focussing on not tripping over everyone else's feet!

belinda looks tired...
In the end, over UGX 300million was raised to help provide clean, safe water to the people of Bududa, an area which has been devastated by landslides over the past couple of years.
